TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Imagine Hope Community Charter School

2917 8th St. NE

Washington, DC 20017





PURPOSE: One hundred African American males will volunteer at Imagine Hope Community Charter School to promote community service and involvement.

Volunteers will serve throughout the building completing the following tasks:

· Assisting in classrooms

· Facilitating gym and lunch periods

· Reading books

· Mentoring

· Putting together school furniture

· Cleaning up throughout the building and around the school grounds.

School officials, students and volunteers will end the day with a special ceremony.


PARTNERS: Target; Island Flavors Caterers; Grand High; Demont Peekaso; NBA Player, Kevin Durant; Professional skateboarder, Darren Harper; Recording artist,Wale' and many more.
