I strongly recommend giving these albums a few spins if you havent heard them.

88+89>all IMO. Like we were saying in that other thread. Cats were still making music from the heart.

Look at how musically diverse all of those albums are.

I was hanging out with Greg Nice last week and I kept telling him how much I loved that album. "Skill Trade", "Early To Rise". BANGERS.
 
Don't even get me to frontin'... '88-'89 was 2nd/3rd grade for me...

I can listen to 'em now as a grown man and respect the music, but there's no way in hell I could front like, "Oh yeah..cuz back then I was ridinaround to _____ doin' ___."

I was prolly watchin' Thundercats or some %@$%

On CAKE I was 5/6 in 88 and 89 I heard a lot due to my uncle, his friend and cousins and went back as I got older so I'm familiar with a lot. but Ihaven't heard a few of these maybe 7, I need to do my research.
