There have been so many bands/groups/musicians that have served as the soundtrack to my life. Everything from A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Black Star, BobMarley, Jimmy Cliff, The Clash, the Ramones, Miles Davis, & John Coltrane. The list goes on & on.
Sonic Youth is def one of my favorites. This doc hasn't been available until now. If I remember correctly, this doc was shot during one of their tours when Nirvana (who just started out) was thier opening act. I just found out it's set for release Tues 9/13/11. I can't wait to cop this...
