got 10k from grants this year, took out a 3500 loan as well
basically going to school for free with money left over
next year ill use the money i get from fin aid and pay off the 3500 loan

Damn... I remember when I bought a 52 inch TV and my ps3 with 5 games with my FAFSA money. Good times.
My parents are Canadian and I got to claim myself as independent. Full ride tuition plus more than enough to cover books and then some. I'm grateful

I think I got swindled last year...I received Fin. Aid last year and it pretty much paid for my classes and had about 200 left over for books...BUT when I went to check right before the end of the semester they told me the only bread I was getting back was the 200 I used for the books
, which I still don't understand because every other time I filed and got my classes paid...I wouldn't have anything left over for anything, but I was seeing at least 2Gs once the semester was over....
(I donno if it might be bc I'm no longer providing my parent's info or what)
This year I got my classes paid for, but still had to come off 300 and gotta pay for my own books
.....Hopefully I see something this year cuz lord knows I needs it
