2010 free agents. how many deserve a max contract?

out of the 2010 free agents, how many players do you think command a max contract. Not who will get one, but who you feel deserves one without hesitation. Many teams have killed themselves by giving a player massive amounts of money. A lot of these guys are getting older. Who would you give MAX money?

LeBron James, Kobe, Dwyane Wade, Paul Pierce, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Chris Bosh. Nowitzki, Yao Ming, Joe Johnson, Ray Allen, Tracy McGrady, shaq,  Richard Jefferson, Michael Redd, Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, Josh Howard, John Salmons, Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby.

i say lebron, wade, and kobe are the only ones i would give max without hesitation. (yes even though kobe is older)

the ones i'm not sure about are amare and bosh. They are on the bubble to me. I don't think it's wise for then to be built around. i think they should be an incredible number 2 option.

paul pierce, dirk, johnson and the rest i don't think command max money in the "new" league we are headed into. you know the fiscally responsible GM's

money is tight these days who knows what's gonna happen with the CBA.

Well we all know its a no brainer that lebron is the cream of the crop within the free agent class of 2010 and of course is deserving of a max contract, but i got a gut feeling that if he intends to resign with cleveland, he WILL NOT sign a max deal. The most he'll probably sign is 3-4 years max. Reason of course is because he wants to keep the cavs organization on their toes and A game. We all know he has dan gilbert and danny ferry by the balls

Of the likely free agents: LeBron, Wade and I guess Bosh.

I think Kobe will work out an extension over the summer and Dirk will take less than the max to allow flexibility for the Mavs.

Why would Dirk take less? Better yet why would his agent let him take less? This is proably the last year of big money deals with NBA
looking to do a new cba with cheaper deals

I'm not saying he should, but he has hinted he would over the last few months.

Manu Ginobili will be an interesting case this summer. He's going to be 33 and past his prime, but he can still put up numbers. I know the Spurs love him, but if they flame out in the playoffs I'm not sure if they want to commit to him long term. He could be a valuable third option for a team.

he has said that team comes firsts and if the team needs extra money
to sign a good player than he will opt out and take less.

Plus he's also said that he does not care about money and that he already has enough.
