they prolly figure since it works for the oil companies and apple, they can do it too (and sadly, they can apparently).

Cracking aside, the CDP's look better IMO
The tongue looks shorter, toe box looks to be really flat and the ankle looks to have less padding.
Hopefully it's just the early versions, because eight years ago I would have thought these were fugazi

beside the cracking, i love my CDP 3s. Until July 2011, the CDP 20/3 pack was my only Jordan buy since early 2007

I agree. I'm one of the few who have NOT experienced cracking on the CDP III's, even though I've worn them at 100 times now. Thank you Baby Jesus. Knock on wood Baby, Jesus.
Luckily, I have 2 more CDP's on ice. I will grab only 1 pair of these 2011 Black Cement versus my usual 3 pairs of Black Cements every time they release. Still got one of my 2 pairs of '01's left. Those are in the vault. Since '01, I've increased my Black Cement III purchases by 1, since I ran my only extra pair of '01's to death.
I'm only buying 1 pair of these for collection purposes. Those comparison pictures plus having extra CDP's left made this decision easy.
