Sometimes trash talk can get way out of hand.

At the Ba’Runi Hotel & Grille in Pittsburgh, Pa., Michael Landeros and his nephew Armando Encinas allegedly got into a fight with some customers about who was better, LeBron James or Michael Jordan. According to Harmony Township police chief Jim Essek, the uncle-nephew duo had been at the bar for four hours, picking fights with various people about different sports, including Pittsburgh teams.

Police said the altercation escalated when the bar owner, an employee and a patron tried to calm Encinas down, but were allegedly stabbed by him in the process.

Essek said Encinas had a knife that looked like the letter ‘T’ with a horizontal wooden handle and a blade coming out of the middle which he placed between his ring and middle fingers.

“When we had them in custody, they were definitely under the influence of alcohol,” Essek said.



The uncle and nephew were arrested, thrown in jail and arraigned Sunday. Landaros was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and simple assault and was released on a $12,500 bail, police said. Encinas, who’s still in jail, faces felony charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault. His bail is $100,000, police said.

Essek said all three victims were hospitalized, but are expected to be fine.

Almost anytime  there were consecutive pages of trash that guy was right in the middle of it. Yeah, Laker fans are the sensitive type, but still, it would be better off without some dudes.
