Happy BG finished top 3. Kind of shows just how far he's come as a basketball player. Congrats to KD though, definitely well deserved. Could be the first of a few in a row for him honestly.

Co-sign everything.

Chris Paul has two good playoff games out of 8 and all of a sudden he's MVP material.

Kyle Lowry deserved more MVP votes than Chris Paul.

Man what?

19/10 while playing great defense and the best assist to turnover ratio with a 26 PER.

Show me another PG who did that, cause it definitely isn't Kyle Lowry.

Kyle Lowry didn't miss 1/4th of the season.

KD officially named MVP, LBJ runner up.

Kevin Durant wins MVP in a landslide over LeBron James, getting 119 of 125 first-place votes.
That first place vote disparity is shocking. I'll wait for this to stir up controversy

Is it really that shocking?

Yes Bron was amazing but not as good as he was last year and voter fatigue. He made it interesting after the AS break but fell off a bit at the end of the season.

Let's act like KD wasn't out of his mind while Russ was out.

He could've won it unanimously IMO.
To me it is, I knew KD would win, but I thought the race would be closer. I'm gonna chalk it up to voter fatigue. What I'm most interested in is how people are going to react. I expect to see 40 charts and graphs of how LeBrons season was basically equal to KDs.

It really wasn't close though,

KD: 32 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 5.5 apg; Advanced stats: 29.9 PER, 19.2 WS
LBJ: 27.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 6.3 apg; Advanced stats: 29.3 PER, 15.9 WS

Add in the streak, and keeping them at the top of their conference in a much stronger West with their other superstar out, and the landslide is justified.

I got us losing in 6 now.

This isn't Memphis (obvi) where Brooks can wait til game 5 to make a meaningful adjustments, nor can we afford RJ waiting til game 4 to show up (4 bench points last night not counting extensive late garbage time). Some people might think he can hoop, but no need for so many Butler minutes nor Fisher for that matter, particularly if they get off to bad starts. Veteran toughness brings 0 to the table when you got old man Fish trying to guard Jamal Crawford. This is an athleticism series. In fact, PJ3 and Lamb with their length and athleticism would be better options on Reddick as well chasing through screens. I hope they earned some minutes with their garbage time play last night. No real problem with Perkins, DJ didn't do much last night and the few lobs he did get weren't Perk's fault, he had to help and nobody helped him (KD would usually be the next rotation). I don't like our pick and roll coverage, I'm better with the pure switching which we went to late and granted CP3 exposed just because he was hsooting so well than whatever they were doing in the 1st half that kept having Westbrook guarding the rolling big.

How about we put our money where our mouths are shall we?

Hibbert is playing bad. Historically bad. Terribly. Like I wanna talk to this guy and instill my optimism into him or something.

If Hibbert can do the little things (block out, rotate on help side, talk on defense when guarding the pick & roll, get deflections) I swear we don't even really need him to score. If he does, we win the game.

If PG can continue to get 20 and 10 every game then we really have a good chance... just don't see John Wall or Beal being a consistent force every game to take us down. Wall hasn't been shooting well throughout the playoffs ... so I see that continuing against our fire *** defense.

YUNG ***** MOVE DAT DOPE
What about Indy's troubles to score the basketball? If Paul George isn't on what do you rely on David west and his back down then shoulder charge the defender in the chest then fadeaway?
We have had trouble scoring, definitely. Like I said, if we can get Hibbert going, then our offense starts firing off. See game 7 of last series as an example.
Wizards don't need Wall to shoot well to win nor Beal to do what he did last night every game. That's what makes us such a problem. For example Gooden 12 and 13 last night.
Man Gooden had his first double digit rebounding and scoring game in over a month last night...  credits to the former Jayhawk though.

except, yall haven't put multiple games like that game 7 together in months. straight free falling.

KD MVP was well deserved this year. I'm a Lebron fan and KD for sure had the better season and he's been so good and so consistent over the last few seasons he definitely deserves the nod. On another note, he better start putting up those numbers every night to get past the Clipps because they got ran out the gym last night. They exposed every bit of OKC's weaknesses. Time to make adjustments a lot sooner than later.

You're silly man.

Even Lowry doesn't think he's better or more valuable than Chris Paul.

Basically, you can't argue with Chester on anything Clippers related. He hates them and can't be objective about the team or its players. That's why I never respond to anything he posts about the Clippers.

And also in that game 7 you were playing the 8th seer under .500 hawks and hibbert had a under 7 footer on him at all times pretty much. Atlanta's defense isn't good either with the likes of kyle korver guarding Paul George.
