Lowkey, I was expecting you to correct me on 'NCCAA', thinking it was a typo.

the 06 suns bench was not even NCCAA D3 worthy

What made the Lakers bench in 09 so much better? I just posted the stats? I forgot to put in Shannon Brown who had a PER of 15.0 and WS of 0.4 in 2009. And Jalen Rose who had a 13.4 PER and 0.6 WS in 2007. Could it be that Phil got the best out of that group...nah couldn't be.

Just for ***** and giggles, I'll post the starter stats for each

PHX Suns: 2006-2007
Nash- 23.8 PER, 12.6 WS
Raja- 12.0 PER, 5.8 WS
Matrix- 20.8 PER, 12.0 WS
Stat- 23.1 PER, 11.2 WS
Diaw-13.0 PER, 4.6 WS

LA Lakers: 2008-2009:
Fisher- 12.1 PER, 6.3 WS
Kobe- 24.4 PER, 12.7 WS
Ariza- 15.5 PER, 6.1 WS
Pau- 22.2 PER, 13.9 WS
Bynum- 20.0 PER, 5.5 WS

Numbers all around are pretty similar.

Jeff Goodman's Mock Draft 2.0:
#6 Los Angeles Lakers - Noah Vonleh

Analysis: The Lakers need just about everything, so it's almost certain they will go with the best player available. Vonleh is a skilled and versatile big man who could turn into a star one day.

See, this is getting old, fast.

Apparently not :\

Mda is like a first generation iPhone. Innovative, but buggy and flawed. Plenty of other coaches have taken his software and improved upon it in ways he has proven to be unable to because he lacks the vision of a retina display.

FYI for the Boozer talk earlier.

Marc Stein is saying we'll look at Boozer if he gets amnestied.

The strategy for next year looks like put 3 starters at $6-7mil on 1 year deals next to Kobe & Draft Pick.

Sacre, Kelly, Marshall 9, 10, 11 off the bench.

Probably try to keep Farmar, and Nick Young.

Then MLE on a 6th man.

Cool. Out in round 1. Mid teens draft pick to the Suns. But, least it's one year off Kobe's contract.

You can handle another historically bad year.

This franchise cannot at all.

Just look at the fan base.

How about CP, myself & Mamba become co-head coaches...

Would make for highly entertaining arguments on the sidelines. And my not giving a damn would be pretty entertaining as well.
