Idzik is not messing around.

 

We should grab terrell Thomas he's a FA hell I'd take old *** champ over some of the bums on our secondary in was at the game fri geno was looking good and our O looks much better than last season

 

Another ques now that Patterson is suspended indef do we still owe him for the season or can we cut him, pulling the same ish Goodson did last year

 

Champ is playing for the saints I believe.

 

NO signed him for 2-years, $3.75M. Saints D will be vastly improved with Champ, Byrd, etc.

 

The funny thing about this whole secondary situation is that last season we had a solid corps of CB's and poor Safeties. This year our safeties are solid and CB's stink.

 

Our secondary man....I know Idzik is annoyed but isn't ready to cut Patterson because we need the help. This is not a good look for Rex in the long scope of things. 

 

Def not, because he relies on the secondary more than the front 7. Obviously he likes to get pressure in the front, but he wants the secondary to have the receivers covered so it gives our front 7 time to get to the QB.

Changes need to be made ASAP.

 

I really don't know what they can do, swing a trade? but for who? Maybe they wait for cuts but can't see much there either.

We're stuck. I think Idzik is playing it too safe. Face it, we're not going that far this year. Why waste money? I think it's smart, he is probably also thinking about the QB situation and leaving flexibility for that down the line. 

 

Honestly I like izdik and he did a good job w our draft but I know damn well he didn't prepare to have our secondary to end up looking like this we are screwed on that end

 

This is the only thing I can think of. Rex will be the causality unfortunately unless the Jets super overachieve, I'm very realistic about this season.
