Commentators were washed all over the place this weekend

 

No one is arguing if the ball was fumbled or not. It was. But Gurley had his foot out of bounds and he was still touching the ball....therefore, it should have been down where he was touching it (which was before the ball rolled into the pylon.

 

All I have been able to find. Sure looks like he is touching the ball.

You are right, it is very hard to tell looking frame by frame if he was still touching the ball when he went out of bounds. But the thing is, the play was ruled touchdown on the field....so they didnt HAVE to have conclusive evidence that he WAS touching the ball. They needed to have conclusive evidence that he WASN'T touching the ball.

agreed. Maybe the NFL had a better view than us. We'll never know though because this is literally the first time ive seen it brought up. including Rams reddit

 

Best I can do. But looks pretty clear it's on his finger tips and foot down, out of bounds.
