2018/19 Philadelphia 76ers Thread: The Process Continues

Shake should not be a point guard at all. He doesn’t even look more ready for the league as a guard than Shayok at the moment. Zhaire and Thybulle look like they can contribute right away though. As does Pelle.

Bye bye eye candy :frown:

:frown: I thought they were gonna complete the comeback.

Zhaire’s handle looks so much better and steady this year.

Thybulle's handles might be worse than RoCo's lol

Point Shake isn't good. Neto def needs to be ahead of him in the depth chart

Nahhh RoCo def has worse handles. Thybulle really doesn’t need to dribble too much anyway. Just confidently stroke it like he’s been doing.

Both of them have done everything I could have asked for out of them so far. They look like they should fit seamlessly in their roles with our roster.

Thybulle and Zhaire look good. Also impatiently waiting for the Ben-Zhaire oops. Havent had many of those since the AI-Iggy, Miller-Iggy, Jrue-Iggy days

Yea im really trying to figure out why Simmons regressed offensively since summer league lol
It’s not as much regressed as,

1.of course you are going to be confident playing against summer league scrubs. It’s men amongst boys

2. He has more safety blankets on the actual roster. So combine not being confident with having willing scorers on your team and you get passive Ben. Imo having Joel at such a young age hurt him because he was never really forced to be the one and only star.

Agreed.

Which is why I’ve said before you put him on a team where he NEEDS to be the guy like a Westbrook he’d be putting up the same type of stats as him. But instead he had a team last year that was the first in NBA history with all 5 starters averaging over 17 PPG.

We all know how great Ben is when he’s actually aggressive vs how bad he can look when he’s passive.
