7-3 in September. A sweep would be huge.

An up and down year, but a wild card spot is very realistic for the Angels.

Honestly, they can still win the division with 14 games left.

After today, every opponent the Angels face will be in their division, including 3 games against the Astros and 4 games against the Rangers. Now is the time to take back the division!!

HAVE to win tomorrow. Jump on Zito and need 7 innings out of Richards. Keep giving the pen a rest.

Ouch what a tough loss. Can't expect to wins if you have 4 error's and 7 un-earned runs. This loss is on the defense and soscia

Pujols was absolutely looking for a HR ball at the bottom of the 9th, no out, Trout on. Simple single would have done it. :\

Didn't have an issue with that. My issue was Cowgill swinging at the first pitch when Doolittle had already gone to three 3-ball counts in that inning. Cron just missed a double off the wall, too.

The defense was a joke last night. Game shouldn't have even been close :smh:

Even though Trout got and Pujols sat, they both worked the count something fierce... then a couple batters later, this dude swings on the first pitch. :\

i dont know about any of you but im sick of soscia and his stupid moves... taking out richards who wasnt even doing that bad...
soscia has had enough chances and his tenure has been a ridiculous one... HE NEEDS TO GO...

oh and lets give it up for Arte and friends at the trade deadline... we needed one good arm or bat, but we picked up 3 effing outfielders...
now watch dipoto work some magic in seattle...

^ Nah, I hate it, but I'm with it.

Dude had lost his luster. Overcoaches us out of victories more than he coaches us to victory.

    :\

He turned us around and made 2002 possible, though.

I will never speak ill of Sosh. Y'all must have forgotten how trash we were prior to him coming over. He turned the franchise around and made us a contender more often than not. We won a damn championship.

Look at the offense aside from Trout and Pujols. We were in the bottom 5 of the league in almost every offensive statiscal category. That's not the Manager's fault. Our pitching was fine in the first half but then a lot of guys had bad 2nd halves. Trout had one bad month and we went 10-19. Dipoto ran our farm system into the ground and tied a bunch of money up for us. I don't see him being any better in Seattle.

Let's hope Eppler makes some solid moves for us as iur mew GM :pimp:

    -Edit-

As far as taking Richards out...it was his first time going on 3 days rest and he was already at 99 pitches. I don't see anything wrong with taking him out.

Sosh has been the coach since I was 9 years old...that's crazy.  He's all I've ever known [IMG]

16 seasons is bonkers, especially these days.
