Or finesse it in a way where you take a 3-4 year deal worth 150 and you get right back after free agency at age 28-29.

Yeah, the articles said 5/150 so he gets back out at 31 for another massive payday.

Hope this is all over soon. The Yanks need to either offer that 5/150 (there’s been no formal offer) or just let him go to the highest bidder.
