2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

It's obvious that KD knows the game but he's not nearly as good as Kobe was at articulating his thoughts and breaking it down for the fans.

I knew about the Yankees, Indians and Dodgers, but must have forgot that LeBron hopped on the Cubs bandwagon too. That one is really inexcusable

He's also part of the John Henry and Tom Werner Fenway Sports Group.

Basically had a survey with 20 top NBA agents on their general thoughts on the bubble, how things stand in the league and how they're heading.

Also had a vote on a few questions, I'll post them along with who got the most votes.

1. The player or coach who you changed your opinion on the most in the bubble (good or bad):

Jimmy and Murray tied for the most votes with AD, Monty, Spo, Malone and Bam getting votes after.

Bud, Doc and Westbrook all got negative votes.

Highest profile player you expect to change teams:

CP and Beal were clear 1-2 followed by Dipo, Blake and Kawhi actually . Apparently there's whispers the Clips might break it up.

Also mentioned that DeRozan doesn't like SA and if he were to leave Detroit would be the first option with Casey there.

Which franchise needs a major move this offseason?

Philly got the most votes with everyone agreeing its a make or break year for them followed by the Bucks. 6 way tie for the rest between Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Portland, Denver and Minny.

Can Milwaukee keep Giannis Antetokounmpo, and where is he starting in the 2021-22 season?

18 say yes he stays and 1 thinks he gets shopped. The consensus seems that he doesn't seem like a team hopper and seems built like an old school 1 team player that'll give Milwaukee the chance to build around him.

Who is the most intriguing 2020 NBA Draft prospect?

Melo with the most votes followed by Hayes, Toppin, Vassell and Williams

What’s the move for Golden State with the second overall pick

Majority say they trade it with 6 saying keep it for Wiseman

Among general managers or front-office leaders, who do you:

Trust the most?

Masai, Weltman and Connelly all tied for 1st with Masai apparently being the most transparent team president/GM in the league

Trust the least?

Morey with the most votes followed by Pelinka, Ainge, Perry, Knicks and Mavs

Think is the smartest?

Presti first followed by Elisburg from the Heat and Masai, Riley and Morey

Think is the best talent evaluator?

Riley and Masai 1-2 followed by Presti, Ainge, Connelly and Elisburg

Think is a future front-office leader to watch?

Trajan Langdon from the Pels followed by Dunleavy Jr from the Dubs, Simon from the Heat and Bobby Webster from the Raps

You get to hire any GM. Who?

Masai and Riley 1-2 again followed by Meyers,Connelly and Pelinka

The majority of agents think Giannis will stay. I think he will give Milwaukee all the reasons to stay long-term.
