Dug these not so subtle Dunks out from my basement the other day. Not an SB but I remember buying them at what was then the only SB stockist here in Norway, and the only dunk they ever sold which was not SB.

45 inch if you prefer to lace a little tighter and tie a knot at the second-to-last eyelet. 54 inch if you want some more slack and lace a little looser.

Was there a practical reason at the time? Or just a design choice made?
