I'm kinda surprised another team didn't give him a chance. I know it was empty stats on a bad team his rookie year, but he looked like a decent enough microwave scorer.

It was both. Word was Trier thought he was better than everyone else. Took tunnel vision and “iso-Zo” to another level, didn’t follow drawn up plays, waved teammates off etc.
