Durant's 23ppg is impressive, but I'd temper that a bit by saying that he's getting those numbers with a constant green light, and being inefficient about it. He's shooting 43% from the floor and 60% from the line.

As soon as Oden went down it was pretty much sewn up on who would be the most likely candidate. It's still very early and anything can happen, but my guess is Durant will get ROY. Assuming he doesn't hit the rookie wall and plummet.

I see Durant as ROY.

Sonics are gonna suck for a while because of the west being so heavy but I dont see 45 wins as a long shot.

Yi has been impressive so far. 10ppg, 5rpg, 2bpg a game.
If he can add about 3 more points and 2 more boards a game that'd be great.

yea Durants gonna win it...but Im still hoping that the Wizards will open their eyes and let my boy Nick Young START!
 
what really stands out in that list is Yi. i didn't think he would start this well. i thought it would take him half a season on get used to the physical and speed of the NBA game. if he can stay out of foul trouble, his numbers will only increase as the season progresses.

45% from the field for a rookie in the NBA isnt half bad. especially for one as fragilly as durant. and the green light he has is well deserved. my only knock on durant thus far is the # of 3's he's firing a night. but he's 120 lbs right now so i cant expect him to assault the basket yet.
