All these frog threads on NT reminded me that my daughters frog died a few weeks ago. She didn't take it too well.
When I was younger I had a Pekingese. Out of the blue my dad got this uncontrollably itchy rash all over his body (after having the dog for years). We had to give the dog away, than in a matter of weeks this happened. No tales of the duck.

A knife-wielding 31-year-old man slashed two young neighbors before stabbing a small dog to death in the hallway of their Brooklyn apartment building yesterday, police said.
Wilfredo Galarza allegedly attacked the 12-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl just before 5 p.m. yesterday in a second-floor corridor of 4923 Eighth Ave. in Sunset Park.
Galarza who has a decade-old rap sheet and was known in the neighborhood as a troublemaker then turned his rage on the girl's helpless dog, Candy, fatally stabbing the white Pekingese pup, cops said.
Esther Rivera, whose hand was slashed, and Derrick Torres, whose forearm, hand and knee were slashed, were taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where they were treated and released.
