550 dollar budget...where can I get a 360 + halo + online for this much???

Alright...

its about time I get a 360 and I have saved enough money...but I only wanna spend 550-600 dollars on everything...

here are the things I want:

360 + Hard Drive (no 3 rings of MF DEATH...I don't want any dollar store quality cheap sht)
headset
an extra controller
Halo 3
12 month XB Live

wireless adapter...but my question is, do I need to have wireless internet running through my house to have one of those Xbox adapters? Cuz I have a router butI don't know how to set it up and I think its pretty old and slow...I dont want any wires running through my house and the adapter is something Iwant...but does that mean I have to fix my router/buy one...and if so, which router should I buy and how much???

I think this will exceed my limit.... if any of yall have these things for sale, yall know whos interested
 
XBL.... look on Slickdeals.net there might be a google checkout coupon out there

Halo3, cop it used.... same for the extra controller (no mayor)

Headset, HDD.......... just cop a PRO 360 that includes all that for $350

wireless internet adapter is $100 unless you find it used, you CAN use cheaper alternatives though, look it up on the forums at xboxscene.com

you get 1 month free xbox live when you buy a 360 so you can wait to cop the 1yr
if you want get the white xbox 360 premium/pro, it comes with 1 wireless controller,wiredheadset and the harddrive

yea you will need a new router if you want to use the wireless adapter for the 360
cop a netgear wireless router...
 
to answer your question, yes, to play wirelesly on XBL you need a wireless router. cheapest one would be like another $40-50

check out pricewatch.com, outpost.com, buy.com, compusa.com, tigerdirect, newegg for cheap routers

if you dont mind running a cable to your wired router you can always go that route

You can knock out your XBL Premium Falcon, extra controller, and Headset from Costco. $440 for that, AND COD4.
Halo is ~60. That makes it around 500 without Tax
The XBL is another 50 if you're getting the 12+1 sub.

the Wireless is 100. You're on your own for that one

Premium Package: Controller, Headset,Ethernet Cord=350$
Wireless Adapter=100
Xbox Live 13 months = 50
COD4 + 1600 ms points = 70 (circuit city)

= 570$

Personally i wouldnt buy an xbox anywhere but bestbuy or cuircuit city. With it having all those problems i wouldnt trust anyone over eBay or Craigs list.

i bought a 360 elite couple months ago for $380. pretty good price.
