    It's a great cause but I don't know if you guys have seen. There are warehouses full of food in this region, the only thing is that the UN isn't giving the permission to distribute that food to the people starving, and that's a shame...

    That is a terrible tragedy, but it's not a valid reason to avoid contributing. 
    As was discussed earlier in this thread, there are hundreds of thousands of people in relief camps outside of Somalia where people are struggling to gain access to services and supplies because the refugee camps are operating so far beyond capacity.  That problem's only getting worse.  It's expected that a camp in Kenya designed to serve 90,000 people will have half a million people living in and around it by the end of the year.  Doctors Without Borders operates in that camp and others like it.  Our donations can help them rise to meet this challenge.

    I agree with you, my comment wasn't against the raise of money, which is a great thing, it was more about how it is used by the authorities afterwards!

    Last night when I donated it was still like $1000+.  NT never ceases to amaze me.  Good job, folks!
