An event that takes way too long but likely happens once a year.
How's everyone doing... I've come along way since beginning things going on five years this coming January.
Here's what I started with many years back:
2005:
-Your core nike air trainer models, featuring 3 2004-2005 retro models. I found my true passion early.
Just a year later in mid 2006:
-my favorite models become apparent as doubles are picked up.
Variety?... Who needs it when you have models you cant get enough of.
Buying what I like from the beginning.
Photos can get redundant so we'll skip straight to current era Sept. 2009.
-4 dozen trainers, a dozen basketball shoes, and a dozen runners capture what I've acculumated over time.
Quick rundown:
-unique style trainer in your zoom haven on the left. Your 2004 zoom trainer 1 is likely my favorite performance crosstraining shoe
-Early 2000 era air trainer III models, and one recent 09 retro... four 2004 retro air trainer 1 og c/w models featuring buttery suede
. and a 2006 trainer max 94 retro
-Many late 90-early 00 retro air trainer sc highs. of course your BO JACKSON signature model. a 97 retro raider, 1990 original, 98 royal blue, two 99 pimentos,'00 navy/red, and a waterproof low. Simple is key for me. Grey OG trainer max 91 and its retro counterpart are on the far right.
-Next row shows off some 2000 air trainer 1 varsity reds, 03 paul brown sb, 01 safari, 00 michigan, and 3 2004 trainer 1 firsttake retros.
-Last row on the shelf shows off another big time favorite. Your air trainer high (1) model. On the left is a 1990 "retro", then two 2002 retros, 62000 chlorophyll retros, and lastly your odd man out, a rare fat lace SAVIER trainer from 2002-2003.
-Cross trainers do more than enough for me in the gym, but sometimes you need that specific shoe.
---- Nylon Cortez or as I call them, your George Constanza's, duke uptempo retros, max2 strong retro, lebron 4, agassi ATC retro, four 2002 ultraflights
, and a few of my earlier balling shoes. tmac 1, and1 tai chi, and ashox status from '03.
----Last row shows a white/grey reebok classic, your ultramarine HOA air180, oregon waffle, infrared structure retro, lunar racer and runner, am 360 1stedition, and lastly some true performance runners. brooks trance 6 and 7, a trance marathon runner, and a asics gt-2110
Lastly my only jordan. a 2003 white.grey jordan III.
That's it guys. Buying what I like since day 1.. Minimal jordans, no dunks, no af1s, no kobes. Rare shoes? who knows and cares.
Just a straight preference for what I need in a shoe.
