Active NTers, what's good with sweat wicking/moisture control shirts?

aka polyester blend shirts
Worth picking up a few? Anybody here swear by these for running, biking, playing ball?

I liked how you can't feel the weight of the shirt once it gets saturated with perspiration, but the feeling sweat running down your torso felt just as bad as cotton sticking to your skin. Does this still happen with newer versions? I know this type of shirt has been out and about for a while.

Dri-fit all the way. Flip the shirt inside out and see the difference from the other side after a workout.

Has anyone ever seen a dri fit hoodie????? I have been looking soo hard for one of these but they only seem to make em for women

I prefer cotton to the dri-fit. Feels better when lifting weights and playing bball/soccer. Although the Dri-fit isnt a bad option though

I got a rash guard for grappling that does this. Its not bad but Id rather wear a baggy t-shirt. My instructor wont let me tho. O well.

I want one more absorptive. Do thicker ones make any difference? Wiping your face on your sleeve and feeling it smear around like a wet towel FTL.

Same, but looking for alternatives. Short sleeve cotton button downs would work, but look awkward for sports.

none of those work for me

I can picture somebody going to play ball at the courts with basketball shorts and a button down

Thanks but I've been looking for something thats all dri fit. Not mixed with mesh, or storma fit, most seem to be mixed with therma fit. Honestly I dont even use these sports. They're great for layering so it can't be too thick and has to look decent under a jacket

I'd wear one for running. I run in the morning and it gets a bit chilly and a dri-fit sounds pretty perfect.
When I run, I usually layer, dri-fit/compression shirt then regular tee and then a hoody or track jacket.
