Found a pair of the wizards CW at Burlington Coat Factory, $39.99

Wore them all day today, very comfortable on foot for me.

I ended up buying a pair this morning. The behind the scenes history with these shoes has been muffled but long story short is Gilbert Arenas used to work out 3-4 am in the morning and hated switching from running shoes on the treadmill to basketball shoes to shoot around so he would constantly shoot in running shoes.

This is pretty much a running shoe/cross trainer

He had a Competitive relationship with Kobe and It is believed this sneaker inspired the design of the kobe 4-6.

Kobe was always looking for an edge and Arenas dropped 60 on him wearing these

Gilbert Arenas not only preferred not switching out of running shoes, he always played in low tops his whole life.

Idon’t know if Kobe made the Kobe 4 to compete with this shoe, but it definitely took inspiration.

And Arenas didn’t drop 60 on Kobe that game. He scored 60 points, yes but about maybe 20 of them came on Kobe. He was really hot on Fisher and then they sent Kobe over to cool him down.

Kobe also scored 45 that game.
