AF1 Heel Slippage

Hi all,

I just got a beautiful pair of low AF1s (women's 5.5). They're comfy and fit well except my heels slip up when I walk. I believe this is because they're so stiff. I laced them with a heel-lock tie, but they still slip significantly. Because the toe area fits so well in 5.5, I don't know if I can go down a half size.

Has anyone else had this experience with AF1s? Should I try to just wear them and break them in, or should I return them?

Pretty sure this was the reason behind the straps on the highs in the first place. Id say its normal. They dont fit great
