They couldnt put in real ripstop material for $500? Actual leather material looks great though.

The black tumbled leather looks on point to the 1990 original raiders

I'd pay a good chunk of change for a wearable pair. But $500 is not even in that same realm, cause or limited or what have you.

Sad they couldnt go subtle and go back to 1990 and do these white/grey/black/ bright pink lows

The catalog really mutes the color. It was truly a bright florescent pink and it's all that was needed to make that shoe pop.
Bottom here gives a good color idea

Great cause but almost gimmicky in blocking. Icey soles worth $200 alone I guess for many

Listening to the quality in the Air Max 97 thread seems NikeID quality has improved, however the colors still aren't 100%.

What do you mean a comparison? I don't think anyone has seen the 2019 pair so hard to say. The 2014 though had a blue leather insole that always dyed your socks blue.

Thanks for the link. I literally just bought the 2014 version on StockX last night. Had no idea there was a new one coming until snkrs updated this morning. Got them for $150 and that seems to be a decent price but I'll be bummed if the new one is a better version. I'll just sell the 2014 and get the new one if that's the case.
