I just don’t like how stiff they looked in press pics. Now that they are in hand I’m digging them more. I just dreaded getting them and the leather creasing like the 2013 royals and shadows.

Yeah. When I bought my 1's in 1985, I'm sorry but the leather didn't look like THAT. I remember.

If your looking forward to real Black and Red 1s in the 85 version, I would expect them to use a similar leather to these. It’s weird to me though because Nike is never consistent with there use in leather on 1s. Non remaster Black/White 1s from 2014 has better leather than quite a few of the remastered versions.
