Damn, fakes are getting good if you're just buying to flex - not resell.
Like, if I see somebody walking around with those fakes, it wouldn't even cross my mind that they are fake.

hence why you got communities on reddit dedicated to fakes because some are so good now unless you're trying to trick someone, on feet no one telling

Plus, it's kinda weird to be going up to someone you don't know to point out their gear is fake. I don't care enough in real life to outwardly call them out on it.

The main way I tell if they're fake or not is the Frankenstein stitching that's near the lace hole, authentics have it stitched real tight together whereas reps do not
then I look at the swoosh, authentics' swoosh is really big, sharp, cleanly made and sit higher than typical jordan 1s

I agree with above. In the blue stitching, not only is it bunched together tightly as willy describes, but it also changes separation as it curves. It shouldn't be regular, consistent spacing throughout that zigzag. I hope the fake-makers don't see this and take notes to improve, ha.
