It’s a shame they look nothing like that in real life.Not my pics. But I love how the sole looks in them.

here are the comparison pics... as you can see the carbon fiber is a different color with the 2019 looking like the og and also it has the white lining... the 2019 is a higher patent cut and in the back it's slightly taller....the leather is softer on the 01 and more padding in the heel area...the 01 pair is wider in general that's why you can see the Jumpman jordan better in the 01 pair which I put in the last pic... I like the 01 pair cuz of the comfort in the heel area and I like the look of the wider shoe vs it being narrow on the 2019 pair... overall though the 2019 pair is really good and prally closer to the OG imo....

^ its definitely debatable... i dont even think the black and red 1s cracks my top 5 black jays... in no particular order bc3, bc 4, black metallic 5, infared 6's and bred 11's are my top 5 black jays...i couldnt give you an honest answer for #1 though...

I hopped off the 1s once everyone jumped on it. Dudes that weren't into sneaker started getting into 1s to be "instagram models" and style with them or whatever lol. I used to cop 1s on clearance racks back in the day, and prior to 2013 it wasn't that popular. I remember copping the 2013 royal 1s easily cause everyone else was going after the nike ALLStar pack. Everyone slept, some how resell jumped on them and surprised everyone and people made sure to not make the same mistake with the 2013 bred 1s after that and the bandwagoning just kept getting stronger and stronger over the years till today lol. Prob the only model I loved then slowly disliked cause the culture. With that said yes bred 11s are arguably the best Jordan sneaker imo.

I have zero hate toward the J 1. Love all the original colorways for sure. But in no way do they compare to the 11.

To this day i cant understand why the 1s even became a thing. Did some rapper make them popular? Was it some ultra limited Onwhite supreme defeated hype nonsense? lol Either which way no one use to wear those damn things now all of sudden theyre a thing. Never owned a pair and dont care to but the 11s? Timeless cool.

It's all subjective, for some the best Jordan ever is the Jordan XI Concord, for some it is the Black/Cement III, or the Jordan 1 Black/Red., or the Black/Red IV. Hell the Jordan 1 thread on here is titled "Best model ever" so if one were to believe that then there is no way the GOAT Jordan shoe could be anything another than a Jordan 1.

Rappers and Celebrities def played a role in why the Jordan 1 is so popular now. Gotta add in the fact that ppl wear their clothes a lot more fitted these days and 1’s definitely look better with fitted clothing
