This is pronably not the thread to ask this, but it's bugged me for 18 years maybe someone here can answer: why do the 4s without Nike Air only have a Jumpman, and not a Jumpman Air like the 3s do? I think we'd all prefer Nike Air, and I get the concept with replacing the Nike with a Jumpman, but why omit the air? Is there a reason... or is Nike just that cheap? I'd rather a Jumpman air over just the Jumpman (its always seemed tacky or incomplete) almost as much as I'd like to see the Nike Air. Even limited stuff like KAWS has air on the 4s
Really a good question Ive always wondered myself. The only thought I have is simply, they just decided not to. They don't have much logic now so it don't surprise me if they didn't have logic then. There probably was little overall thought to it. But I do agree it does look a little better. The other side of me thinks it came down to size of Jumpman and placement. They didn't want to make the jumpman smaller to fit the AIR.
I think having “AIR” with the jumpman on the back would just be too much on the back. I feel like the JM is too big to have the “AIR” there as well. It’s another reason to appreciate the OG NA tag because it’s PERFECTION
Same here, coulda sworn Em was a 10 or 10.5 wonder why size 12 is what StockX got...either way I've just never really felt theese at all anyways. I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but these always looked more like fakes to me...
The retro looks a lot different. Much lighter grey, cheaper suede, and they angled the mesh (which is a improvement actually)
