But they stitched the edges of the tongue onto the actual upper, so it’ll hold in place more

Starting at the bottom where the first lace hole would be is stitched to the beginning of the tongue. Then stitched all the way up until the tongue starts to wrinkle and the upper pulls away.

I have to sort of agree with Aquamanjay_ , this release is going to be similar to the 3s. They're an original colorway with a gimmick attached to them. Though they won't reach the same level as the 3s.
