I just moved into my first house on Memorial Day and have been running rampant bacc and forth from Ma Dukes crib gettin all my stuff to the new spot...I've been using her F-150 piccup for the majority of the trips. So Thursday I load up my 50+ pairs of Jordans in the bed of the trucc and shoot to the crib, offload then go to work for the day. The next morning I'm setting them up in the loft (my room) and I can't help but feel something's missing. After a careful, concise, and repeated inventory, it became clear to me that my Olympic 7s were not on the premises. I couldn't think of where they may have fallen out've the trucc but boy am I sore. It does give me an excuse to cop a DS 10.5 somewhere down the line, but the sentimentality won't be the same. I copped on RD and kept them up as best I could, even with the original purchase receipt...

back in febuary 2003...my first car was jacked! you might ask what does this have to do with jordans? well... in the trunk i had my gym shoes...XIItaxis...DStock XVII blue/white... and beater (playground shoe) 14s playoff. I always used to keep my basketball shoes in my trunk so if decide to play ball, ihave my shoes in my trunk. I just bought those 17s too from a friend. I came to work after i picked them up from his house, parked my car... when i got off mycar was gone. Now everytime I buy shoes before i go to work, i carry the shoe box with me...i look kinda stupid carrying a shoe box inside a casino but bettersafe than sorry. I bought back two of the three shoes that was stolen from me but im still on the hunt for taxis. anyways heres the pic of my car that theytook. police found my car within 4hrs everything was gone. oh yeah! and i miss that car too!

^^^^hahaha....icecold1980 you just opened the door to a full blown #!# chewin. Good luck you deserve it. Sorry to everybody for their loss.

Here's my story....

A couple weeks back when I was getting back from school, I was in search of a pair of Flint IX's. I put up a post on NT saying that I was interested inthem. A week or so later I got an email from nymace@aol.com. Now I've been on this board for years and I know that NY Mace is legit, so I figured it wasthe real thing. I talked to this guy for close to a week trying to get him to use paypal. He said he would, but at the last minute told me just to send themoney through money order.

Now I have never done a transaction through money orders before, nor will I ever again. I sent this cat $150 and haven't heard back from him since. Heblocked his email address and everything. Just goes to show you that you can't trust ANYONE. It was the first time in 5 years that I got burned. Anyone inthe NY area that is down to beat some #+# let me know. I got the dudes address and everything.

But for real, I've been wanting to make a post about my situation to make awareness to the community. It just goes to show you how pathetic some peoplereally are. It's sad when you have to STEAL $150 off a 19 year old college student. The dude probably doesn't even have a job. Just sad man. If someoneis that desperate for money, go work. It's that simple. I've been working every day of my life since I was 16. That's why I'm in the financialsituation to have my 33 pairs of shoes and still have money on the side.

Like I said, I just wanted to post to give the forum a heads up. Be aware of someone trying to sell YOU shoes. It can happen to anyone. It happened to me and Ilearned from my mistake.

Ya that sucks..it could have been way worse, like all 50 of your pairs fallling on the freeway and gettin smashed by semi's and big trucks or somethin..thats actualley where I thought you were goin with that story.

Yes, that is were I thought the story was going. I was about to cry. As for hurricane Katrina that was a terrible experience for many people and loosingsome shoes is very very small part of that tragedy.

Definitely not comparing my Olympic 7 loss to the tragedy that was, is, and will forever be Katrina...as for the lames on here commenting on my double"C" spelling I'm doin me if you don't have a story or WORTHWHILE comment logout. 4sho I'm Crippin, I'm also 24 with 2 kids, afull-time job, my own house and my own car. That is a small but prevalent part of my personality so if I say Cuz or choose to spell words with a double C whatis it to you all ? ? ? I've never been scared and it goes way deeper that NT...so anyways yeah still lookin around the area to catch somebody wearing them
devil.gif
I find myself preoccupied with who found them and if they even knowthe difference between my authentic J's and the fakes that are probably flooding whoever it is closet. YES I'M MAD DOGGIE ! ! !
