Generally the materials aren't premium but some are better than others from what I've seen.

Man for such a "passable" release this thread sure enough has a lot of chatter lol.
Good to see people showing this model/cw love and helping each other out. Tongue aside and of course incorrect insoles really happy with the pair on hand. Packaging details booklet and even how they came unlaced hits the nostalgia mark. Also appreciate the midsole having pigment color added not just white painted over black.

but I can't help but wonder if these would look better at least with my wardrobe with white laces

I feel like the black laces are perfect for a jogging suit sweats outfit

and the white laces would go great with a pair of jeans almost dressed up a little

Any idea why they use a synthetic material on the tongue part? Will it flake in time, like the inner part of a vans slip on?

My pair arrived just minutes ago. They are flawless. Cardinal leather is a little nicer. But, I've wanted these for a long time so I'm happy with the pair I received. Can't believe the 14s have been on ice for 9 years lol. These will be in my summertime rotation

TTS is fine for me. Toe box is pretty roomy, roomier than a usual size 11 IMO.

I bought 2 pairs, TTS and .5 up. TTS is the way to go. You could probably go down .5 if you want less boaty feeling.

For reference, I wear 9.5 on all 1s and 10 on AM1,90.

TTS. Better fit, could always opt for thicker nike elite socks when they stretch a bit after breakin them in
