Air Jordan III OG Black Cement returns Feb 2018 - Nike Air on the back

I'm considering it. Waiting on danewera to post his pair that he fixed to make my decision.

i took a quick photo of them but I have them stuff with socks. If i take the socks out theres a crease but the main thing is I wanted the boxy look from the toe to be gone which I achieved.

I also have a question on what kind of shoe trees the poster used for his 3’s? I want to look in on getting some

They’re still a little wet at the edges but within another day they’ll be completely dry.

Yea man give it a shot. I felt like the only thing I wasnt feeling on the Vs was the toebox so I was pleased with the results I was seeing & also thanks for the info on the trees

I wasn't aware that reshaping the toebox was a "Thing".

Lucky for me that I don't like the way it looks.

Just giving my opinion; the ironed 5s and especially the 6s look bad IMO. Doesn’t look right because there’s more fabric on contemporary 6s toe box and 5s toe cap than the 2010 6s(pretty much the slope 6s) and older 5s. 3s look fine, but won’t wearing them undo all of that?

Dudes acting like women when it comes to their shoes nowadays talking about contrast, puff density, EP height, toebox ironing, etc. Beyond lame. Just wear the kicks and enjoy them. The nitpicking is getting quite absurd and embarrassing at this point.

I just put the shirt above the shoe so it would be two layers of fabric instead of one.

I recently bought a pair of 2018 Black Cement 3s from a reseller. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to check if the pair is authentic. Almost all of the points mentioned on various articles and Youtube 'Real vs Fake' videos match, EXCEPT for the following:

1) BOX LABEL:
The box that I have received mentioned the colorway as 'Feu Rouge - Ciment Gris'.

HOWEVER - on all the Youtube review videos I have seen, and on my friend's pair of authentic Black Cement 3s (picture below), the colorway is mentioned as 'Gris Ciment/Rouge Feu'. ALSO, the font does not match as seen.

2) INSOLE:
The insole of my shoe has the Nike Air logo as shown below - with the 'AIR' written on the bottom right of the 'NIKE', and also with two circled 'R' letters around the 'NIKE'.

The insole on my friend's shoes and on the Youtube video reviews is as shown below - with the 'AIR' written with more spacing, directly below the 'NIKE', and with no circled 'R' letters

3) ELEPHANT PRINT:
The elephant print on my shoes has black stains on the grey patches - as seen in the picture below:

4) LABEL ON INSIDE OF TONGUE - Production dates seem quite early - from June to September 2017, whereas on most internet sources the production date is generally between July to November 2017.

Please let me know if any of you guys have a pair of Black Cement 3s which match the pictures of my shoes.

i still get that tbh after dozen+ wears. I slip my feet in sometimes and it folded the grey collar area in front of the black tab.. cant straighten it i dont think

I think I had the same rubbing initially. I rock mine at work thou (Luckily I have a job I can wear them at) and they have broken in quite nicely. its really amazing to alternate between a Jordan 1 and a Jordan 3 and feel how much more comfortable the 3 was.

Love the guys going to the effort of reshaping their kicks... I wish I had that dedication to this hobby.

unDS'ed my pair the other week and been wearing them with every opportunity (work and leisure). I also still have the rub on the achilles as well.
