This was very helpful.
Are you asking about the fit and feel, or just comparison in looks? There is just not to many pics of all 3 together out there. Unless Aquamanjay_ Aquamanjay_ can dig something up.

Thanks for that picture!
To keep things short, I’ll list the differences.
1. The 1989 was released in a mid cut as opposed to the 2016’s low cut.
2. The OG was made of synthetic leather, while the 2016 was made of genuine leather. The 1989 leather yellows and cracks over time.
3. The 1989 had a less dense polyurethane midsole that crumbled over time. The 2016 has a more sense midsole that won’t crumble as fast.
4. The 1989 had the midsole paint dyed on. The 2016 has a painted midsole.
5. The 2016 retro has decent padding in the ankle collar, while the 1989 had standard padding in the collar and tongue. The 1999 pair has the most padding.
6. The 2016 has a thin white netting that yellows quickly over time, while the OG had a thick netting that yellowed slowly over years.

Overall the 2016 is much shorter than the OG, and it uses genuine leather unlike the OG.

that height needs to be fixed

Correction: The height MUST be fixed.

AT ALL COSTS.

This very IMPORTANT detail, that has been absent for almost two decades, will MAKE, or BREAK this release.

This year's Concord 11 release, shows that Nike/JB, has the FULL capability, to make the 4's, 90% exactly like the original, 1989 release. That "We lost the OG molds" ish, doesn't fly with me, and it NEVER did. Not even a little bit. It's F'N time to come correct, Nike.

Either come correct, or just leave em in the vault. I'm COMPLETELY tired, and cool of the low top BS.
