Glad I got back the 5s.

It was still too soon. A lot of people were not ready for the older models when MJ was still winning chips and on top. It was always about the NEW JORDAN at that time. After he retired again from the Bulls, people began to accept the older models more.

Totally. Plus, the 15 was a lackluster follow-up to the 14. Even during the first retirement, the 9’s and 10’s were not as highly regarded as previous models, or the 4 models that followed.

It looks like it has the OG netting too, the kind that doesn't yellow, it just turns light orange or red.

Sorry, I'm not getting it. The netting in the pics above is yellow. Maybe a diff shade of yellow....like more of a piss color? ;-). Those ain't DS white....

I'm with you but let's not get too far ahead - for the most part those are not remastered OG.....they are just improvements.

I agree but I think you can make the case that the current 1,2,3 shape is better than what we were getting in 2000-2003ish before they started to really go downhill. Can’t say the same for 4s.
