i dont thinkt the OP will respond since you have quoted a post from 5 years ago and he probably cant acces to his NT account anymore caused by the server change a few years ago L M F A O
lol that picture is from the OG AM96s look at how big the air units are talking about to make someone happy with a dead sparrow
I was about to post that US11 pic and then I clicked the link and read the article. It's another "Do you think this should retro?" article and it's a pic of the OGs. I got gassed at first like "wow the retros look really good!" And then I dug a little deeper. I don't see any reason why these shouldn't see a retro. They've retro'd so many runners that didn't make a ton of sense from a design or popularity standpoint, so hopefully we'll get some info soon. On the same note, they're doing more 98s this year and a few OG BWs so I don't want them to throw more at me than I can grab at once.
A QS run of OG cw's would be awesome. My fear is that Nike will want to milk it for all its worth if they bring the design back and release a load of inferior cw's, lunar versions, hyperfuse, flyknit etc.
lol you're already need to be happy if nike gonna retro them you're really optimistic tho thinking that nike will milking out the the 96s only people at the age of the late 20s, begin 30s and older would know about this shoe to the young cats from the early 20s this is sneaker is totally not interesting because they were not old enough back in the days to remember the air max 96s
Horses are long out of the barn for the AM1, 90 and 95! Depends on how popular any retro would be I guess but I can see the 96 making some new fans, particularly due to the forefoot visible air etc. Let alone if they go "triple black"...
tbh i dont think that 96s will be a huge sales hit there was a reason back in the days why they have stopped the production from the 96s and continued from the 95s and the 97s, because that shoe was not selling well enough
Some hope is still out there.... Not sure if it's set in stone but this cat has been very reliable with info. I won't hold my breath but I will keep my fingers crossed.
they even tried it with the AM96 II S that model sucked even more than the OG96 at the end it reincarnated in 98 as the Tuned Air to save the *** from the EU foot locker
L M F A O, i dont even take him serious that fool took exclusive pics from the AM0 and the AM90 Holos what i have posted on NT last year and also i caught him posting fakes from the AM0 on his IG page, his source is either NT or US 11
Wishful thinking I guess... But when it comes to Air Maxes..... @AIRMAXDISCIPLE & @Modus47 are basically the only two who I have 100% confidence in.
I'll defer to AMD and Modus any time on AM knowledge ;-) I think the 96 could go down well if marketed right though. I was surprised how well the 93 did in the UK last few years. Far less obscure a sneaker than the 96 of course but still seeing a lot on people's feet including people too young to remember them and I live in a city which lives and breathes the 95, 90, 1 and TN in that order of priority...
