Had the lows back in 99.... These came out late September or October if not mistaken ... I had em on first day in school... Back when you could get J's a couple months early for a decent price.

I been asking for these to retro but I'll take the mid if it's good materials. .

Ginger is one of the few colors I can’t get down with at all. Brown or tan or gold i’m good with, but not ginger. MAYBE I would cop the ginger 16s, but not even 100 on that.

Some sites are calling these “Wheat” and not “Ginger”. Have we heard or seen what the actual colors are? Style code too? Maybe there not supposed to be the high version of the 1999 lows.

The low-top version of this model is cool and all, but the '99 original never sat right with me. The peculiar color-blocking didn't suit its lower profile, resulting in an aggressive rodent/bear claw aesthetic.

At any rate, cool shoe. I can hardly wait for the Columbia blue colorway to be released from the vault in 2029.
