Those are crazy. I wish I had the connects for some of that stuff like I had with PE's. I have zero clue how to find/get Originals like that, but damn I'd love to own some. Thanks for posting those pics Sole. Not many people even know metallic knockouts exist. That is rarer than rare. As for the blue/white KO's, I know where both those pairs pictured are today. They are both in Japan and have no chance of leaving the country anytime soon due to stingy yet smart collectors. I hear you Dill... Retired Jordans has crazy stuff. It would be interesting to see what he has done the last few years. I just like you, could see myself dealing with him thru meetups only. The only Jordans that get me excited nowadays are the AJKO's, samples, OG I's and older PE's. JB could never destroy the OG I's and AJKO's legacy the way they have done with all other models. As we all see from this post, the love for the OG I's never went away even with those "Face" retroes coming out. I think this is due to the long history, rarity and uncertainty about so many pairs. Sole, send me that pic when you can. Im dying to see what another pair looks like...

This is a great post. I didnt think it would get off the ground at all but luckly it did. Jordan I's are the most mysteries shoes, ther is so much about them that is unknown. Here are some pics of some Unicorns. Im not 100% on all the shoes pictured are authentic. I think these are fake^ correct me if anything! Royal Blue's^ I nice crispy pair^ But more so then those above the next 2 my unicorns, the real shoes that i wonder about in the same circa of the AJ 1's are the shoes bellow. My new grails, i have been looking for them for a year or so know and have found 4 pair no owners willing to sell.The first 2 are called Nike Chicagos. I cant find anything on them really. Did they come out? I know of a couple of pair with a labeled box kinda different for a samples or prototype as they appear. And then there are these. from what i know they are called the Big Nike Jordan. They have the exact design of the Air Jordan 1's but have no wings logo and have NIKE on the back like Nike Terminators and Big nikes. Also have alot of close colorway to the AJ1 mettalic blues and another colorway just like Terminators. Pics Below! Now from what i understand, Nike had both the Nike Chicagos and the Big Nike (Jordans) designed when Jordan came on board. So nike fused the 2 together for the Jordan I and then redesigned the forefoot of the Big Nike for the released version of that shoe and then scrapped the Nike Chicago (already made & ready go out )since they bit off the wings logo design and a few leaked out. But thats just what i think from what i have been digging up. Someone drop some knowledge on me. Here is the GR Big NIke for you to see the close but redesign. those are the second version of the black/gold sample Is. the black midsole pair. there is a white and black midsole pair. the black midsole pair is slightly more valuable than the white one correct me if im wrong.
oh yea... no matter which pair is rarer, those are the rarest jordans ever created. the black midsole pair was sold for over 40 Gs and the white one i heard was sold for 23 Gs.
Hello all. I've been reading this thread, and I feel as if I should contribute. Big ups to Joe, Sole, and Dingo for posting info for everyone. I have a TON of OG/Metallic Jordan I pictures from the last couple of years saved, but I'm sure half of you have seen them already. Here are a few that haven't been posted yet. These shoes have been posted already, but not this picture. Here are Jordan I's with a Nike logo on the ankle collar. I guess pre-production samples? Check out the slightly different outsole... I posted this pic on page 1, but I feel as if this is the most "legit" looking pair I've seen. And for comparison, more fake black/gold Jordan I pictures... Jordan wings logo too close to the top 2 eyelets. Cut is way too low. Ankle collar is way too padded. Tongue seems to be made of a mesh-like material, not nylon. "I'm the guy from Alaska."
