He does some background vocals. He's not a very big part of the song at all vocally.

song isnt too bad, i just found it on Perezhilton.com or something like that, googled it

I was looking forward to a duet so in a way i'm let down a lil bit but Alicia Keys is gonna go down as a legend when it's all said and done

her first album was crazy

Alicia Keys is already a legend. I'm not one who believes you have to be 9489384938 years old to become a legend.

27 years old... 9 Grammy's, over 20 million sold worldwide.

Legend.

(However... she needs some classic albums under her belt. Because all of her albums are just solid. Classic singles, and solid albums. I'm waiting for a CLASSIC album)

^ i agree with you about legend status, i just said "gonna" bc she has alot of albums left in her

I think her first album can be classified as a classic or atleast close to it, man looking back to 2001

there were some of my fav R&B albums of all time released in that year

R.Kelly
112
Craig David
Alicia Keys
Usher

i kno im forgetting many others

^I feel you... and 2001 was a hot year.

I can't really agree with her first album being a classic though. I'm gonna have to side with the critics who generally have the opinion that Alicia is an incredible artist, but she's never truly put together that SLAMMING final product when it comes to her albums.

I remember rushing to the store when Songs In A Minor dropped because Fallin blew my mind. Then she followed it up with Woman's Worth and How Come You Don't Call Me... all insane singles. But with the exception of a few excellent songs, the best she had to offer was all on the radio.

IMO
Songs in A Minor 4/5
Diary 3.5/5
As I Am 3.5/5
