But with the exception of a few excellent songs, the best she had to offer was all on the radio.

That's how I felt about Diary. I got hyped because of "You don't know my name," "If I Ain't Got you," and "Heartburn," then it turned out those were the only 3 songs I liked off of the album. Songs in A Minor on the other hand is something I can listen to from beginning to end. That record was so fresh for its time. The industry needs Alicia.

Alicia Keys can do no wrong. She is the one
"So if you tryna find problems wit me, keep lookin
Before i put that heat to ya grille now keep cookin"

i like john mayer and i like alicia keys, this collab was on point!

That's my thought on it.

Unfortunately, it appears as though this is the best song on her album

After listening for about a week, I have to agree....although this is one hell of a song

Jill Scott's cd is dope, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is "killing" Alicia's cd.

They have different vibes, hard to compare. I enjoy both......

Between those 2, and Chrisette Michelle's cd I'm good on that r&b tip for a while

Ms. Keys and John Mayer could talk on a track and it'd be hot fire

No joke, this track is so mellow...if only they collab'ed more! Oh and after listening to the entire album a few times I think it definitely grows on mewith every listen but Songs in A Minor > Diary > As I Am...but thats like saying Jordans 1st Chip > Jordans 2nd Chip > Jordans 3rd chip etc...
