Yea Same thing i was thinking... I never bought the ribbed ones when i was younger because it didnt like that look compared to the smooth leather look... but im am starting to feel the ribbed joints also.

The Indiglo's looked so good with smooth leather. But I didn't really care for the white pairs. The ribbing only looks good IMO on certain colorways. Like the pair in the link below.....
