I'm currently in college in bethlehem pa, I'm looking for some good mom and pop shops in the lehigh valley area, I've found a local villa and homebase610 for sb releases, any help/info is greatly appreciated

Wsup so I'm cosmo im new to the whole sneaker game always loved sneakers but never had the money to cop. But now I have a new job so what better time but the present to introduce my self to the community
 
has anyone ever done a "first come first serve" release at hoh in kop? wondering what the protocol was like since theres multiple entrances and hoh opens at 8 for releases while the mall opens at 10
 
is there like an organized escort to hoh or does the line outside fall to **** once the doors open? i just want to get these royal 1s for myself and be on my way

This will be my first time going to KOP, I'd like to know how the lineup works in general. I got to talking with this girl at Finishline and she told me that everyone just lines up outside the tranist area then makes a mad dash to the stores once inside. So I assume that there isn't a real order to how the line is formed once people get inside.
 
For every release I have done there it's been cool no one running or acting crazy. Just talk to the mgrs at hoh finishline at that mall is a joke
 
Ubiq is madness, almost any release there you have to camp out a whole day before the morning release. Im not trying to be out in the cold over 24 hours for some shoes. Just cant do that **** anymore, my limit is waiting early morning of, lol. Ill probably be at KOP both Fri and Sat morning!
 
StoneyTony and Swaggadelphia, we should meet up at KOP. Maybe Swagaadelphia can show us the ropes for the lineup procedures there since it'll be my first there at KOP and I am assuming Stondytony's.
 
im going to go early saturday morning and see what happens, i wont be getting back from school in time friday for the releases so ill have to try my luck online. ill post up what shoes im wearing the night before in case anyone recognizes them feel free to come up and say hi
 
Hey Stoneytony, what time were you thinking about going up to KOP on Sat, I was thinking about heading up there around 4 or 5 am?
 
^ I was wondering that too. Also if they get non-GR shoes. I heard they recently revamped their Footlocker so maybe they do. :nerd:
 
Stopped in at Kop to pick up my lunarknits and campers are out no ticketing just fcfs. Sounds like a mess waiting to happen good luck and be safe out there.
 
Wow, sounds terrible. I might just head over to Cherry Hill mall or try my luck on 1 of the local Villas. I was hoping KOP was going to be the for sure thing.
 
Well, I hope everyone in here got what they wanted. I struck out on the Friday releases entirely. For today's releases I went over to Cherry Hill mall, because they were doing a raffle and I'd rather take my chances on that than camp out for a whole day-I'm too old for that type of stuff. I got myself and my brother a pair of the royal 1s and on the way home from Cherry Hill I got lucky with nike.com and scored a pair of the Barkley Posites for my brother. Today was an awesome day-hope you guys fared well!

I stopped going to Ubiq about 2 years ago for releases.  Dudes will literally camp out for GRs.  It all started with the ?uestlove AF1's and went down hill from there.  Dudes camped for a week for a shoe that they could buy on the resell market for $400.  I feel bad for people who value their time like that.

I've never gone to either of the HoH's for a release.  If I do go out for something, it's usually Villa at the Gallery.
 
Glad everyone made out ok. It was easy for me since I was going for xx8s. Walked into hoh saw the black camo and said yup.

I can't speak for the KOP HoH but the Cherry Hill mall isn't that bad in my opinion. It may have been a little luck for me since I did strick out completely on the Friday release but I had my pick on everything on the Saturday release, but it was a raffle so there is a little luck involved when it comes to when you get your ticket called, in order to get more choices near the fron of the lineup. I will definitely be trying Villa in the Gallery mall next time for other releases.
 
got drunk friday and couldnt make it anywhere in time to hardbody camp, struck out on finishline for the royal 1s. Oh well im just going to buy some flyknit lunar 1+ and wait for the lightnings
