Yeah, my dad use to tell that he had the opportunity to go to engineering school for free and that every time his school was low on money, the gov would send it straight to them.

LOL @ bands.  As technology moves forward for our convenience, certain traits, skill sets, and mindsets are left behind.  We're obviously moving further into the technology and will continue to do so.  We've seen jobs lost because of this, but this is just how society evolves as a whole.  I wouldn't necessarily say the millennials are less skilled, but they are born in a different age.  They will have their fair share of challenges as well.

What's failing is not necessarily their skills, but the mindset they have.
