I was the one who started the Kony thread. And yes I do realize I was duped but who cares? I lost what? 10 dollars by believing in something that could have helped so many people? Yeah, shame on me. I was the ONLY ONE supporting that movement, I must be a real idiot huh? And no individual success on that link shows that they can do it other than holding down the CIA's website, and having the government not be able to find them / stop them from doing it. (To the guy who said that the CIA website is like any other website.. really? The CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY had their website taken down for 5 HOURS and not a single thing was done, no arrests were made. They were helpless in the hacking of a Government funded and run company's website being taken down for hours on end) Every success on that website piles into a big middle finger from Anonymous to people like you who seem to think that people don't have power, so you sit here and deny a group that is unlike Kony 2012 in the sense that there's a very long page of successes and operations that they have done and still have not been stopped. I'm not saying that they're gonna do it, but I hope they do. Nowhere in any of my posts in this thread so far have I said "Man they're really gonna do this, i can't wait for Saturday! Can't wait to see the internet down because it's for sure happening!" I just hope that it happens. I'm sorry I don't want to be a part of the cool kids that looks at everything that could bring change and just go " here we go again, idiots. "

You're right. I put a gun to your head and made you donate. Nobody in that thread was researching and telling people to look before you donate. I didn't check before I donated, and I messed up. My fault, but that doesn't mean that you were required to donate after seeing that video or thread. YOUR ignorance level is out the roof for thinking that it's my fault for people losing money on here. There would have been a thread anyways even if I didn't start that one.
If the internet gets shut down, it'll get people wondering who did it and why. People will find anonymous, and the Government won't be too happy about the internet being shut down. Also, it'll be a sign that the people of this country have more power than just standing on a street corner with a sign that has a percentage number on it. The government will realize that the people of the country have power and just like the quote said, "People should not fear their government. Government should fear their people." Being realistic is fine, but you assumed that all they do is make empty threats when they have a whole page of successes / hacks / raids that show that they don't usually talk out of their rear end. If this happens, I'll definitely be impressed with Anonymous and I think that a lot of people will be. Will it happen? We'll just have to wait and see. I'm not immense into IP and server talk, but I have no idea how they would get this done. Even if it doesn't end up benefiting us or scaring the government at all, it'll be interesting to see, don't you agree?
