That just depends on what level you're talking about. There's D1, D2, and D3 in the NCAA. There's also NAIA and NCWA.
It's very tough to get a D1 scholarship. They're looking for kids who are multi-time state champs and/or all-americans at places like Fargo Junior Nationals. D2 and NAIA will also offer scholarships, but they'll take kids who aren't quite as accomplished. D3 can't offer scholarships but will still get some very good kids. The NCWA is "club" teams, but they compete against NCAA and NAIA teams during the season and have their own national tournament. Some of the clubs take it a lot more serious than others.
There are a ton of options depending on how good you are.
As long as you're dedicated, there will be a team that's glad to have you.
