Any of you know someone with a gambling problem?

A friend of mine has a serious gambling problem, and now he's in serious debt because of it. He owes $7000 to some dudes, and is scared to death becausehe doesnt have that kind of cash. I feel bad for the dude, and I don't even know what to say to him. I don't wanna make him feel worse with the"I told you so," but that's the only thing I can think of to say to the guy. I told him to go look for a better job, because he desperatelyneeds the money. As much of an idiot he is for getting himself involved wit these ppl, I don't wanna see him get hurt. I've known dude for 7-8 years,and now I'm gettin the feelin that if he can't pay up, he's gonna be murked.

Any of you guys know someone who's been in the same situation?

I know someone that lost $20k in a casino over a few months but at least a casino is legitimate and you can't owe them money. Hope your friend gets themoney together man

yeah my aunt is addicted to gambling at casinos and she bribes people to go with her and when you use your last $ at the casinos, she'll give you more tobet to play with cause she's not ready to go yet.

yeah my friend had to file bankrupcy at 18. hes lost about $50 Gs and hes 25. he would literally take his school loans and checks straight to the casino. hes apharmacist too so he makes a lot and he thinks he can gamble a lot. hes gonna be the only dude i know makin 100Gs and homeless at the same time. bad thing is ididnt know how bad it was at the time so id loan him a few hundred here and there. he was always good about it and gave it back, but now i realize i wascontributing to his bad habit.

Dude bet on sports games. He called me at 1am one night super happy that he just won 5k, then i didn't hear from him for a week, and next thing ya knowdude's down 7k. He's an idiot.

yeah, i got a gambling problem. I live in Detroit and i used to drive 2 hrs to go to the casino in mt. Pleasant since i'm only 18. Now, i just go to thecasino's in downtown detroit with my cousin's id. The last time i went to the 1 in mt pleasant, i went at about 3 in the morning, lost all of my moneyin a good 15 mins, and had to sleep in my car for a few hours. then i woke up and drove home, kept falling asleep at the wheel, almost hit the median barrieron the freeway, got a ticket that i have not paid and there is now a warrant for my arrest......

I just came back from vegas. I LOST 700 in 2 days. I dont think I have a gambling problem since the money was saved up for vegas. I DIDNT TAP INTO MY BANKACCOUNT.

Ive lost so much in Vegas once that I had to prostitute myself to 60 yr old+ women just to get enough for a plane ticket home. That was a bad run of cards.

i do, but its not too bad. i cut down from 3 nights a week at the casino to once a month

The bookies don't play either. I just mess with the online stuff cause if I lose it all, it's my choice to add more money. It's not that serious.
