Anybody know how to fix this? PC Heads check in

It keeps telling me Windows found no possible solution. Is my HDD dead??

I've had this for the past 5 months and never fixed it.

Restart your computer and it should prompt you with two options. Choose the second one, I think it's "start normally". If you choose the first one, it'll try to do the repair.

I selected that once, went to bed, woke up 12 hours later and it was still on that screen.

If you have the re-installation disks, re-install Windows, It will ask which partition, u select the main one and it will put all of your files into windows.old folder on the hdd so u don't lose any of your files.

When installing, put the disk in, turn the computer off then on, and press which ever F key is needed for startup (I forget which one)

You should be able to run repair from the install disk as well, and that might work.
Also try restoring it to previous restore points (if you have any and you should) but make sure to put anything you want to keep on a usb drive.
