Anybody know how to get the backlight on an ipod nano to work?

Contemplating on trading some beater last shot 14s for one of those small ipod video nanos..only thing is that the backlight dont work..i treid going tosettings and stuff to get it to work when i was lookin to see if i wanted to trade but it aint work.. If i restore the ipod will it work? I havent traded yetbut i want an ipod with more memory...

You gonna have to get a replacement part for it if you cant fix it through the settings...

i want an ipod with more memory...

nah I been using the old 2 gig nano
Cant i restore it though?Cause i looked at it and it dont look like its even been touched on the inside or anything to stop the light from working...

I dont know, sometimes parts just stop working
I dont know if restoring it will fix anything...
If theyre just beaters what are you losing? lol
