Anyone else feel under-qualified?

I've been applying to government jobs left and right at the G-5 grade, and other non-government jobs and all of the positions seem too big for me.

Obviously I'm not intimidated since I've mustered up the gusto to apply, but I feel like I'll be shot down, word to the "can I borrowyou" thread.

yes, when i look at the genentech website under the careers section. all they want are ph.d's

op, i put G7 pay grade, i think...for a recent app i just turned it. It was for this federal career program. I have prior experience. Theyre currently fillingup positions for 2010, so I have to call back in October. This opp is very promising for me...In the back of my head, I think i asked for tooooo much, wish icould change it. I hope i get this fed job. its for 2yrs, thats the duration, and then youre considered for employment.
